Due to the rural setting, this home relied on Calor Gas as a means of heating, now it only uses Calor Gas  as a very last resort.

The solar heating system designed and installed, provides a substantial portion of hot water and can pre-heat the central heating. The renewable energy system is in keeping with the natural charm of this property.

The design faced a number of obstacles. The obvious thatching made it impossible to place panels on the roof. Secondly, the property had a mains feed from a nearby well. Needless to say the obstacles were overcome and the end result left us, and more importantly our clients, extremely pleased.
